We Fight Gum Disease: Periodontal Program
When we find gum disease, our hygienists take quick action to remove hardened plaque, smooth rough areas on teeth roots where plaque collects, and administer Arestin antibiotic to fight infection. Some patients may need gum surgery to remove damaged tissue and promote healthy regrowth. While recovering from gum disease, patients should frequently visit the hygienist for checkups. Recurrence is common, but with our talented hygiene team on your side, we can defeat gum disease and keep your smile strong and healthy!
Life After Tooth Decay: Dental Fillings
Dr. Tran places primarily white fillings made of composite resin. However, if you prefer amalgam fillings, he will place them on request. Patients laud his gentle injection technique, so you can rest assured that your visit will be comfortable and rewarding.
Restorations for Damaged Teeth: Crowns, Inlays, & Onlays
When a tooth is compromised by extensive decay or damage, Dr. Tran may recommend a crown. We place inconspicuous white crowns made from porcelain or porcelain fused to metal, as well as precious metal varieties. When damage is not significant enough to warrant a crown, Dr. Tran may place an inlay or onlay. Crowns, inlays, and onlays are custom made in a dental lab to fit securely. The procedure requires two visits.
Relief from Grinding and Clenching: Nightguards for Bruxism
Do you have unexplained tooth wear? Do you experience headaches and facial pain? If so, you may be a nighttime grinder. Many people unconsciously clench and grind their teeth while sleeping, which damages otherwise healthy teeth. The condition, called bruxism, can lead to migraines, facial pain, and temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ). With a simple oral appliance, Dr. Tran may alleviate your nighttime grinding and associated pain.
Lifelike Replacement Teeth: Bridgework, Dentures, Implant Restorations
Missing teeth cause a host of problems, including: low self-esteem; allowing remaining teeth to shift out of place; bone degeneration; problems with eating, and thus diet; speech impediments; and statistics show, premature death. You don't have to live with missing teeth or uncomfortable, unnatural-looking prosthetics. Dr. Tran works with talented ceramists in a dental lab to create custom fitted, natural-looking replacement teeth. Whether you prefer bridgework, partial or full dentures, or dental implants, we can help you reclaim a reliable, solid smile.
